Makkah al-Mukarramah is home to Masjid al-Haram and the Kaaba, the qiblah of every Muslim and the place of Umrah and Hajj. Pilgrims perform Tawaf around the Kaaba, the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah, and pray in the mosque where a single prayer carries great reward.
