This package adds a day in Taif to a complete 12-day Umrah. Taif, in the mountains about 90 km from Makkah, is where the Prophet ﷺ went to call its people to Islam and where he made his heartfelt dua after being turned away. Visiting it brings the Seerah to life, and the cooler mountain air is a welcome change from Makkah.
You stay seven nights in Makkah and four in Madinah. The Taif day follows the winding Al Hada road and visits Masjid Abdullah ibn Abbas, Masjid Addas and the local markets. On the way back the bus stops at the miqat of Qarn al-Manazil, where those who wish can enter Ihram and perform another Umrah on reaching Makkah.

Taif ziyarat day

On the way back, stop at the miqat of Qarn al-Manazil: those who wish enter Ihram here and perform another Umrah in Makkah that evening. - DAY06

Taif is a full-day trip from Makkah during your Makkah stay, on a day set by the group leader. The drive is about 90 km, 1½ to 2 hours each way by the Al Hada mountain road.
Yes. Taif lies outside the miqat, so on the way back the bus stops at the miqat of Qarn al-Manazil (Wadi Muhrim or As-Sayl al-Kabir, depending on the road). Those who wish put on the Ihram there, make the intention and perform the Umrah on reaching Makkah.

Yes. The Umrah visa is included and is applied for through the official Saudi system together with the mandatory Saudi medical insurance. You need a passport valid for at least six months from the date of travel, recent passport-size photos with a white background and a copy of your PAN card. The visa is issued at the discretion of the Saudi authorities.
Men put on the two white Ihram sheets at home or at Hyderabad airport before the flight; women wear their normal modest clothes. You make the intention (niyyah) for Umrah and begin the Talbiyah before the plane crosses the miqat; the crew announces it before landing in Jeddah. The group leader explains every step at the orientation session before departure.
Under the current Saudi rules women may perform Umrah without a mahram. Women travelling without a mahram share rooms only with other women and stay with the group throughout. Rules can change, so our office confirms the current requirement when you book.
Yes, children of any age can travel with their parents and perform Umrah. Child prices depend on the age and on whether the child needs a separate bed, so our office gives you an exact quote. Each child needs their own passport and photos.
Saudi Arabia requires pilgrims to be vaccinated against meningitis with the quadrivalent ACWY vaccine at least 10 days before arrival; carry the certificate with your passport. A seasonal flu vaccine is recommended, especially for seniors. Requirements can change, so please confirm with our office or your doctor before travel.
Choose your departure, hotel package and room sharing on this page and pay a deposit of ₹25,000 per person online (UPI, cards or net banking) or at our Nizamabad or Hyderabad office. The balance is due 30 days before departure, and we send reminders by WhatsApp and e-mail. Bookings made within 30 days of departure are paid in full.
Cancellation charges depend on how close to departure you cancel and on the visa, airline and hotel costs already paid. Our office gives you the cancellation terms in writing before you pay the deposit.

The Taif day was the highlight for us: the mountain road and Masjid Abdullah ibn Abbas. The road has many bends, so carry medicine if you get travel sick.

Good package. The hotel in Madinah was close to the mosque; in Makkah it was a bit further than we expected, but the walk was manageable.

Good arrangements in Makkah and Madinah. We visited Taif in winter, so there were no roses, but the fruit market and the cool weather were lovely.
