Draft for review: These Terms & Conditions are a draft prepared for Umrah with Ateeq. All items in [square brackets] must be confirmed by Al Baitul Ateeq Tours and Travels (and ideally reviewed by a lawyer) before publishing.
These Terms & Conditions apply to every Hajj and Umrah booking made with us online, by phone or WhatsApp, or at our offices. Please read them before you book; by paying a deposit you accept them.
Last updated: [Agency to confirm date of publication]
1. Definitions
- “We”, “us” and “our” mean Al Baitul Ateeq Tours and Travels, trading as Umrah with Ateeq.

- “Package” means the Hajj, Umrah or combined tour described on our website or in our quotation.
- “Departure date” means the scheduled date of the outbound flight from India.
2. Bookings and holding your seat
- A deposit of ₹25,000 per person for Umrah and ₹50,000 per person for Hajj holds your seat, unless the package page states a different amount.
- Your booking is confirmed when we receive the deposit. We send a confirmation and a PDF receipt by e-mail and WhatsApp.
- The balance is due 30 days before the departure date. We send reminders, but paying on time is your responsibility.
- If the balance is not paid by the due date, we may cancel the booking and apply the cancellation charges in section 6. [Agency to confirm]
- Bookings made less than 30 days before departure must be paid in full at the time of booking. [Agency to confirm]
- The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and confirms that every traveller in the booking accepts these terms.
3. Prices
- Prices are in Indian rupees (INR), per person, based on the room sharing shown (quad, triple or double).
- Inclusions and exclusions are listed on each package page; anything not listed as included, such as personal expenses or excess baggage, is extra.
- Prices may change before full payment for reasons outside our control, such as higher airfares, Saudi government fees and levies, exchange-rate movements and taxes. [Agency to confirm how price changes are handled after the deposit is paid]
- GST, and Tax Collected at Source (TCS) on overseas tour packages, are charged as applicable under Indian law. TCS requires the payer’s PAN and can be claimed in your income-tax return as the law allows.
4. Visas
- We apply for your visa through the authorised channel, using the documents you give us.
- Visas are issued at the sole discretion of the Saudi authorities. We cannot guarantee a visa and are not responsible for refusals, delays or changes to visa rules.
- Visa fees are non-refundable once the application has been submitted, whatever the outcome.
- If a visa is refused, the cancellation terms in section 6 apply. [Agency to confirm]
5. Your documents and responsibilities
- You must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates, with your name exactly as it appears in your booking.
- Please check the names, dates of birth and passport numbers in your booking; the cost of correcting errors in details you give us (such as re-issuing tickets) is payable by you.
- You are responsible for the required vaccinations and certificates, and for any other entry or health requirements in force at the time of travel.
- Upload your documents by the deadlines we give; late documents may delay or prevent your visa.
6. Cancellation by you
Cancellations must be made in writing (by e-mail or WhatsApp) by the person who made the booking. Charges depend on how long before the departure date we receive your cancellation:
- [More than 45 days before departure: Agency to confirm charge, e.g. ₹X per person or X% of the package price]
- [30–45 days before departure: Agency to confirm charge]
- [Less than 30 days before departure, or no-show: Agency to confirm charge]
In addition to the charges above, the following are non-refundable once incurred:
- the visa fee, once the visa has been applied for;
- issued air tickets, which are refundable only under the airline’s fare rules, less airline charges and our service charge [Agency to confirm service charge];
- non-refundable hotel nights and other services already paid to suppliers.
If you ask to change names or dates, we will try to help; any charges made by airlines, hotels or the visa system are payable by you. [Agency to confirm any change fee]
7. Refunds
Refunds, after deducting the charges above, are paid to the person who paid [Agency to confirm, e.g. within X working days to the original payment method]. Payment gateway charges may not be refundable. [Agency to confirm]
8. Changes and cancellation by us
- If we have to change hotels, flights or other arrangements, we will provide an alternative of a similar standard wherever possible and tell you as soon as we can.
- If we cancel a package for a reason within our control, you may choose an alternative date or package, or a refund of the amounts you have paid for services we do not provide.
- We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), such as Saudi or Indian government decisions (including visa suspensions or Hajj quota changes), pandemics, war, unrest, natural disasters and airline schedule changes. In such cases we will pass on any refunds we recover from suppliers, less costs that cannot be recovered. [Agency to confirm]
9. Conduct, religious and group rules
- Respect the laws and customs of Saudi Arabia and every country you visit, including the rules of Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi and Nusuk permit requirements (for example for the Rawdah).
- Please follow group timings and your tour leader’s instructions.
- We may remove from the group, without refund, anyone whose behaviour endangers or seriously disturbs others. [Agency to confirm]
- Carry your passport or ID and your hotel card as advised, and do not carry any items prohibited under Saudi law.
10. Health and fitness
- Hajj and Umrah involve much walking, crowds and heat. Please tell us when booking about any medical condition, disability, pregnancy or mobility needs, so that we can advise you and arrange support where possible.
- Consult your doctor before travel and carry enough of any medicines you need, with prescriptions.
- We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers medical treatment, evacuation and cancellation. [Agency to confirm whether insurance is included in any package]
- We are not responsible for medical costs, or for losses caused by a condition that was not disclosed to us.
11. Baggage and Zamzam
Baggage allowances, including any Zamzam allowance, are set by the airline; airlines usually accept Zamzam only in sealed, approved containers, and their rules can change. Excess baggage charges are payable by you. Claims for lost, delayed or damaged baggage must be made to the airline, and we will help you make them.
12. Referral programme
- An existing customer can share their referral code. A new pilgrim who books with it receives ₹1,000 off their package.
- The referrer receives a ₹1,000 reward in their Umrah with Ateeq wallet after the referred pilgrim’s trip is completed.
- [Agency to confirm how wallet balance can be used or withdrawn]
- Self-referrals, fake accounts or other misuse may lead to rewards being cancelled.
- We may change or end the programme at any time; rewards already earned will be honoured. [Agency to confirm]
13. Use of the website and accuracy of information
We take care to keep package details, hotel distances and prices accurate, but errors can occur and details may change; your booking confirmation prevails. Hotel distances from the Haram are approximate and photographs may be illustrative. You must not misuse the website or try to access other users’ data. Our guides and duas are general guidance; for religious rulings, please consult a trusted scholar.
14. Our liability
We arrange services provided by independent suppliers such as airlines, hotels and transport companies. We are not liable for their acts or omissions, but we will help you raise any complaint with them. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the package, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will try to resolve any complaint amicably first. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at [Nizamabad/Hyderabad — Agency to confirm], without affecting your rights under consumer protection law.
